El guitarrista criollo Carlos Hayre falleció el pasado jueves 19 de julio a sus 80 años de edad.
Fue un profundísimo conocedor de la guitarra, nacido en Barranco, Lima Perú 28 de junio del año 1932, su carrera como guitarrista se inició a comienzo de los sesenta. Fue seguidor de la corriente armónica, introducida en el piano por Lorenzo Humberto Sotomayor y en la guitarra por Lucho Garland convirtiéndose en el mayor innovador dentro de la música criolla.
Su virtuosismo y su inagotable talento para explorar las posibilidades del instrumento y lograr con él hallazgos sensibles y creativos, hicieron de él un intérprete fino y rico de matices. Quienes alguna vez lo oímos interpretar con la guitarra, no olvidaremos jamás su capacidad expresiva y muy especialmente su capacidad para la improvisación.
Hayre trabajó durante muchos años con la cantante Alicia Maguiña sin embargo, sería al lado de Manuel Acosta Ojeda que consagraría un dueto memorable que produjo temas como “Adiós y sombras”, “Siempre” y “Triste ausencia”.
En sus composiciones introdujo armonías y arreglos modernos de jazz y bossa nova, y el uso del cajón en los valses criollos. También destaca por ser un músico multifacético ya que tiene dominio sobre otros instrumentos como la mandolina.
Este virtuoso Instrumentista y compositor fue velado en el local de la Apdayc, en el Centro de Lima, donde se dieron cita sus familiares y amigos recibiendo cristiana sepultura en el Cementerio Presbítero Maestro.
Carlos Hayre dio un ejemplo muy necesario a los peruanos de hoy, el ejemplo de vida de Hayre reivindica la dignidad y la validez invencible de la creación y la autenticidad.
